Our prices
Our prices are all-inclusive. Unlike many pet sitters who charge extra for another dog or cat, or another litter box, watering more than 5 houseplants, and lots of other basics you would expect, with just a few exceptions, we charge by the amount of time your visit takes us to complete, plain and simple No nickel and diming you on price. No surprises on the final invoice. The exceptions: cat claw clipping, complete litter box change and sanitizing (versus scooping), holiday fees on major holidays to compensate our sitters for being with your pets instead of their friends and families.
Initial pet consult: Free, when you are booking service with us. (Otherwise, $20 for the consult/interview.) Our initial meetings usually take 30-45 minutes so we can meet you and your pets and really learn the details of caring for them and for your home. If you are a regular client and you add animals to your household or move, and we need to do another consult, the costs are the same as visit costs.
Vacation/travel visits: $20 for up to 30 minutes, $25 for 45 minutes, and $30 for an hour, no matter how many animals or litter boxes you have. During that time we will exercise, feed, water, play with, and clean up after your pets, and provide care for your home as well. A daily diary of our activities will greet you when you return, and anytime you want to know how things are going just give a call or text us! If you would like a quick daily email or text saying things are fine, just ask.
Midday dog walks: same as the vacation/travel visits, but we offer discounts for those who use our services at least 2 times a week on a regular basis. Call for details.
Companion Visit: Companion visits are extended evening visits beginning around 6 pm and lasting 2 1/2 hours. These are wonderful add-ons to some of your visits if you are away from home for an extended period of time, or as a less-expensive way to provide companionship for animals that don't need full overnights. Many of our clients use these, as well, if they are gone for a very long day. $40.
Kitty claw clipping: $15 for first cat, and $6 for each additional cat done on same trip
Complete litter box cleaning: Sooping your litter boxes, no matter how many, is part of our regular visit charge. If you would like your boxes emptied, sanitized, and refilled with clean litter the fee is $8 for two boxes if done on a regular visit, $25 for two boxes if cleaning boxes is the sole purpose of the visit
Pooper scoop yard: We will clean up anything your dog does while we are caring for him; this is part of our regular work. If you would like your yard cleaned completely, the charge $8 if done in conjunction with a regular visit, $25 if this is the sole purpose of the visit.
Pet chauffer: $25 for pickup/drop off to vet, groomer, doggie-daycare, $15 per 30 minutes of wait time (should you need us to stay with your pet at the vet, for instance.)
Key pickup or return, short visit to turn off oven, coffee pot, let you in if you are locked out, etc.: $10 per trip
Holiday fees: $10 additional per visit for major holidys, plus Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
